as you sleep my eyes gently watch your dreams
soaring from your heart like meteors
showering through the skies of your mind
i see land in your body
your skin the color of naked earth,
you, my ground to discover, dance kiss and stretch along
i come to you as ocean comes to rock over millions of years
my hair falls and sweeps across your chest like the curls of white water
tumbling, i am wild upon nature's perfection as your sands tingle and winds moan
my water lays upon you with you inside me
together our shapes and textures ever changing through ourselves,
creation moving, growing, freeing, new
here, we are as what forms all that is

A very deep and beautiful poem-- Many thanks for posting it!
I was led to your poetry blog from your comment on our ecoblog site. You have a real gift for writing poetry, and you definitely should put more of your poems on this blog for people to read.
